Hi, I’m Erica…
Medical Doctor, Integrative and Holistic Practitioner, Change Maker.

With over a decade of experience working in the NHS, I deeply value the incredible advances and life-changing possibilities modern medicine offers. However, I’ve always felt there was a missing piece in the puzzle of true healing. This feeling intensified after navigating my own life’s twists and turns, including a cancer diagnosis in my 20s. It was during this time that I turned to and discovered mind-body approaches to support my healing journey, and their profound impact inspired me to retrain in some of these transformative practices.

I am a certified practitioner of Breathwork, Meditation, Reiki, and EFT/Matrix Reimprinting and am currently training in Integrative Medicine—a field that thoughtfully combines complementary modalities with scientific and medical expertise. I aim to bridge the gap between complementary and conventional medicine. I believe this integrative approach can help restore the body to synchrony and balance, addressing the root causes of many modern ailments.

I work 1:1 in a highly personalised, trauma informed fashion. I also offer Breathwork workshops and am passionate about workplace wellbeing. Through my work, whether with individuals, groups or organisations, my aim is to help people reconnect with their inner resilience, find balance in their lives, and take empowered steps toward a healthier and more harmonious future. I continue to work part-time in the NHS, continuing my medical practice.

How I got here

What led me here has been a series of life-changing experiences over the past decade, each one guiding me to where I am today.

The main catalyst being my own experience of cancer in my early 20s, during medical school.

Whilst I am a firm believer and advocate for the life-saving power of modern medicine and science that cured me, it was the alternative/holistic practices I discovered, that truly healed me – putting me back together in ways I never expected. The medical system provided excellent treatment for the disease itself, but I quickly realised there was little attention paid to post traumatic recovery on a psycho-emotional level.

So, I became my own guide; learning and subsequently training in holistic modalities. My personal experience has shown me that there is huge power in integrating modern medicine with ancient holistic healing modalities. This is something I feel passionate about bringing into the mainstream healthcare system. It’s one of the reasons I’m training in Integrative Medicine—to help bridge this gap and create a more balanced approach to healing.

After over 10 years working in the NHS and carrying these feelings, I eventually suffered burn out. The stress of working through the pandemic was the tipping point—it further highlighted both the incredible strengths, yet also the glaring deficiencies within our healthcare system and modern medicine.

I needed time to pause and reflect. I took a sabbatical, spent time with loved ones around the world, immersed myself in holistic healing practices, and deepened my learning in places like Mexico, where everything truly came together. That time of reflection has led me to reimagine my identity as a doctor, a process that was not easy, but ultimately has led me to blend my passions in a way that truly felt authentic. I am now able to guide others in a way I would have valued during my own challenges, sharing the knowledge and insights I’ve gained to provide meaningful support.
